Information Overload

Information Overload = Information Needed - Brain's Ability to gather information. Sooner or later the amount of information generated (and perhaps needed to subsist) will outgrow the amount that resides in our heads. However, I believe this will never happen because society at this juncture would start functioning, and thus the amount of information needed would be lessened (under my own definition of information overload).

However, in this day and age, information overload is a problem. Even though information overload is always (as per my definition) in the positive (meaning IN should always be greater than BA (Brain's ability)), there are times, such as these, where IO (information overload) approaches 0. Lower numbers of IO translate themselves into higher stress. This is EXACTLY what we see today (!!!). And to wonder how come some people believe IO is dead (???).

There is so much information out there.... Sometimes curiosity is the first victim of this information overload. Next comes science. The pace of advance in science is so quick these days that it has introduced a big dose of triviality into it.
